when I got to know that the staff's learning journey will be to the museum, I started planning on how to escape. on the day itself, I wasn't feeling too well which was a good advantage but I decided to go ahead with my colleagues. the irony.

anyway, to prove that I was there.. this was the ONLY thing that interest me at the museum. others were just 'i'm happy to see it, let's get moving.'

I miss the girls. I miss it when I entered the class and they complimented on how I looked, my dress and my accessories. I miss them sweet angels.
And I also miss the days when I could go out after classes or after school to just let my hair down, even if it means just dessert.

I hope the girls are making full use of these files that I gave them. Crumpled worksheets are just a sore to the eyes.

This cookie lolly just reminded me of a very sweet buddy of mine at CCPS. She deserved it, and I hope HWPS is treating her well. :)

Not forgetting, my sweet CTs. They were thoughtful enough to get me something to remember by and getting the girls to write notes for me.

SIGH. It's not always rainbows and butterflies right? There's always something to learn from, be it bad or good. I'm looking at it as experience.

For someone who can't get enough of Starbucks Frappe even when she's away on holiday. This was taken at Suntec Starbucks but am not sure if it is really true. Being in this fast and furious world, will it really wait for me?

The June holiday is coming to an end. It was a good break for me to mentally and emotionally prepare myself for the upcoming semester. I foresee that it will not be easy teaching this class as what other teachers have been telling me but I will take the challenge given and try to do my best, the rest is up to them boys. Like Mr. Bieber would say, "Never say never".

However when it comes to holiday, it can never be too long even when we complain that there will be some days when it's boring and don't know what to do.

I'm not sure if I've made full use of this holiday but I sure did get to spend more time with my family, friends and boyfriend, as well as travel to Phuket. I am grateful for these days and my loved ones.

so it's June already and so far the school that i'm posted to is good. we are not called back till the 22nd onwards, good news isn't it? :)
holiday flight to Phuket has already been booked but we can't decide on which hotel yet. it's 10 days away and still deciding. horror much. the feeling hasn't kick in also. hopefully everything will be soon.

Sitting near this glass door is kind of annoying as girls will come knocking. However, it also served as my mirror early in the morning before going for morning assembly and something which I would turn to to rest my mind as well as have some sort of touch with nature still amidst the 10 mad rush weeks.

My daily weekdays life during the 10 weeks at CCPS. It basically revolved around lesson plans, evaluations, markings and whatnot. I'm so glad and proud of myself that I made it through this crucial period of 'do or die'.

Now that the practicum days are over and that I'm in a new environment as a BT, I hope I can stay sane with the boys. This June holiday will hopefully help me to get myself mentally, emotionally and physically ready to face the battle for the next semester. With God's will, I can do this.

Have you met Qaisy? It's pronounced as Ka-ish. He has been with me for.. 3 years now (I think). How time flies when you are having the time of your life. I fell in love with him almost immediately, that adorable face kept me company when the giver had to leave for Brunei on V'Day. I've been meaning to get for him new clothes from that bear shop (what is the name?) but that sweet yellow colour shirt has my name on it, though it's scribbled in an illegible manner which caused me to have doubt at times (that it's my name). Hah. Anyway, I still love him the same and I love the person who gave it to me more. Thanks boyfie, we are happy for you. Aye aye Captain! :)

a week had passed just like that and will start to teach this coming Monday. the first 2 P5 classes, EMS. OHMYGOSH. it feels like I was promoted too fast, from P1, P3 and now P5. if only the promotion is from manager, director to vice-president. I would be so rich! anyway, it was a tiring week despite only having to observe my CTs, i think it's all the lesson planning for the upcoming weeks and having to wake up at 5.30am everyday. i've been good too, knocked off earliest at 3pm. :) however, it really drained me out by Friday causing me to fall asleep without washing up. guess what I saw in the mirror the next morning? a HUGE zit! :( nevertheless, still had a good weekend with the boyfriend and he still loves me, no less. haha! not forgetting him saving my life from an Indian driver who doesn't know how to slow down at a red light while I was crossing the road today. it doesn't matter if you like to sing along to Justin Bieber's songs, cause you are my hero!

Today marks the first day of the last league in NIE.

I guess I tend to worry too much like yesterday. I had mixed emotions of going back to school. There were so many what ifs.

What if I wake up late for school? What if I get this mate in my group for the assignments? What if I have no one to keep me company during my break?

At the same time, I was excited to get going with my life and graduate. However, graduation means I have to go through these 6 weeks of study and 10 weeks of practicum first without any break in between! That was when Miss Nervous came in to the picture.

So much for these emotions cause today, everything fell into place nicely. I entered the class and saw the 2 familiar faces that I don't mind being in the same group with, sitting next to each other. So I took the empty seat and yes, we became the 3 musketeers for the Science assignment. :)

Then, it was the 3 hours break time and I spent it fruitfully with my 2 friends (whom I've not hang out with before) and a new friend (friend's friend). We talked about anything and anyone under the sun (only that it rained but we didn't notice) as well as shared some dirty little secrets regarding this Miss 'Perfect' city. I've learnt a lot from the conversation that we had and it actually opened my eyes to view the rationales and truths behind almost every conceptions. It really does make a difference with whom you hang out with' cause one of them stayed in US for 3 years and went to their high school while her friend is currently studying in Perth for her degree in Engineering. These are the people who have experienced different cultures which made them able to compare the lack of humanity here and what is really happening in other places. The truth be told.

Besides that, I also received my overdue birthday present from my NIE girls and I managed to meet 2 of my friends to give them their lil' souvenir from Sydney before and after my last class respectively.

I feel so blessed today as though every single thing had been arranged perfectly for me. I know that I will be pushing it if I were to ask for things to go my way throughout these semester. I guess we can't have the best of both world?

Now I know why they say the best things are free.

this bugger was seen outside my sister's window after I heard a knock on the window pane. apparently, it wanted to enter the room of course without knowing that there was a glass. poor grasshopper, must have had a headache and a bump on its head after the incident.

anyway, I couldn't shake away the thought of superstitions. if I were to tell it to the Malay people, the first thing that they would think of is 'it might be someone who sent it' or a.k.a black magic. however, from a website that I came across, it meant to be a lucky thing if I see a grasshopper itself! it all falls back to what we believe in. i chose to believe that the grasshopper was just a lost friend who had a great fall.

The "Am I going to hear wedding bell soon?" question has started and it got me thinking. No, not thinking twice over the relationship but my future and how I want it to be. For me, what's important now are understanding one another, financial stability, and definitely an open relationship with the other half and both families where we can talk and discuss within us. Well of course privacy is also important as I do not want others (especially the busybody friends and even family members) to know every single issues. People should see the happy side as what I want them to. Also, I absolutely wants to see my other half to be successful in his life. Who doesn't right? Cause it will reflect on me! As the saying goes 'Behind every successful man is a woman'. :)

On another note, a new semester awaits next week! I will try to be faithful to this space once school starts. Have I mentioned that school is getting better and better these days? NOT! Firstly, it is still going to be a 5-day week with 2 hour classes on most days. Then they had to change the timing for a module which caused my Tuesdays to stretch from 930am to 730pm, and not forgetting having an 830am class the next day. Today, they had to change a Math module timing so that we will have a longer break in between classes. How thoughtful right? Again, NOT! Cause seriously, when we asked to "give us a break" we really didn't mean a longer break. We want to go home! That was what we meant!

Speaking of which, there are already a few readings to do before next week but I've not purchase the book yet. Cause apparently they want us to buy it from the campus's bookstore and it's cheaper as well but who the hell wants to travel there? Shall join the long queue to get it on Monday and read them during the breaks. :)

For now, I would like to divert back to my last few days of hols. It's too short to waste a minute. Hehe.

Who knows of a cat that takes the elevator? ME! Haha. He's definitely the first I would look for when I go over to my grandaunt's place. Beyond any doubt, I miss having Gucci around, so Izzy is the substitute. :)

saw this cool t-shirt (cause my name is on it) at Desigual, Orchard Central. it was just a random window-shopping trip with the boyfriend but honestly, I don't get Desigual really. The designs are just not my cup of tea and would anyone really buy them at their price? Prolly it's just me and my shopping fuss. Anyways talking about shopping, I've bought my heels and accessories for Raya! Managed to do serious shopping with Nazlin in town last week before meeting the other 2 ladies for break fast. Ever since Gucci left, Aizaad and me have been thinking of getting another pet. It was either a rabbit, guinea pig or hamster but when he brought the idea to the parents, my mum's replied was "if any of them comes in, one of you have to go out. I can't afford to have another one to take care of." hahaha. It's true. When I first saw those oh-so-cute rabbits, I could hear them saying "take me home with you!" but I had to remind myself how troublesome it would be to clean the cage and groom them. I've got to admit that i'm hopelessly lazy when it comes to that, like what my mum will say "you only know how to play with it".

Qamarul wants a cat when we have our own place. Hmmm. I think taking care of him will be enough to keep me occupied. Now I know what my mum was trying to say and how she feels. However, if he really wants one then he will have to take the responsibility to clean, groom and whatnot. I will do what I can and what I do best which is to make the cat happy just by playing with it. :)

First day of TA was kinda mundane. Our mentor is a nice, friendly, and warm lady though. Since the first 2 weeks are only Observation, there is really nothing much to do yet except to gather necessary documents like Time-Table which I've not gotten, talk to the CT for details, and write up a weekly reflection. Other than that, I'm like my CT's shadow. I sit at the back of her classes to OBSERVE. And to be in a convent school again, I feel belonged. Haha. Only difference in CCPS is that from the P to the pupils, there are no male species at all! We rule! :)

So, first day down and 24 more to go. Hahaha such a torture to countdown. I can't wait for another month of holiday after this despite of the fasting month. In a way it's good for I can hibernate at home. Hehe.

I miss the holidays already. All the meet-ups, outings and getaways.. You rock.

I had a very fruitful day today despite it raining the whole time I was out. My first date was with the NIE mates at Seoul Garden for lunch. Too much food and wet weather made me think twice, to go or not to go, for my other 2 dates as my eyes were getting heavier and the coldness hit me.

Fortunately, the thought of my last few days of holidays made me went on with the plans. What is there to lose anyway, but I guess to be responsible to your words and actions is the main culprit here as you grow older and become more self-conscience and aware of your surroundings.

I don't want to lose the opportunity to be able to meet my TA friends and supervisor, and explore the school beforehand. Also, I've never missed Siti's BBQ before! She always make sure that we have enough food and will never forget to serve barbecued marshmallow just for me. :)

On the other note, I'm actually feeling the stress of TA already as I mentally prepare myself to win this game. Also, I'm stress that my family are going to Sydney in December while I'm still unsure if I'm able to go with them cause of school.

It's like a stab right to my heart as my parents were discussing the other day. Dad was worried for the car will be left untouched for a week or so and decided to ask any of the neighbour's help. Suddenly, mummy said "Mira is not going. She can help with the car." :(

Sydney, I'm not gonna give up on you, even if it's only over the weekend. But the thought of being alone at home for the rest of the days that kinda bothers me a lot. Am I suppose to cook and do my own laundry? Watch TV alone, go to bed and wake up to nobody at home. Sigh.

These are the 2 movies that I've rented and watched during the holidays and they went straight to my favourite list. Both are tear-jerker movies, but The Time Traveler's Wife reminded me of P.S I Love You cause they are like in the monsoon season category.

I guess I suck at sad couple movies. Anyways, I think Sandra Bullock and Rachel Mcadams are gorgeous in their own ways. As for the other movies like Couples Retreat, Vampire's Assistant and Sister's Keeper didn't move me as much.

Personally I feel that Couples Retreat is captivating only for the beautiful out of the screensaver scenery. I hate the ending of Vampire's Assistant, and Sister's Keeper is on the line.

I find that Cameron Diaz played the role as a mother amazingly and the part that touched me the most was when her daughter Kate gave the book to her and when she finally broke down. It is recommended to watch as there is twist in the story.

However, it is on the line cause I compared it to The Time Traveler's Wife and I guess sad family story cannot beat sad couple story as yet for me. It's a relation kind of thing I suppose. Well, cheers to good movies that I've watched and will be watching.

Next in the list is Twilight:Eclipse, hopefully.

This year, mummy wanted a fan for the dining area as her birthday cum Mother's Day gift. So her wish was my command. I drove to Marina Square on a rainy Saturday (08/05) to get the fan and hand-carried it to the car and from the carpark to home.

It would be great if guys did offer their helping hands instead of just looking at my direction thinking why is this girl carrying a long box all by herself at MS (I suppose). Even dad didn't offer to help when I reached home.

He just looked at the wrapped up stuff and asked "What's that?" before continued gardening. For the record, the box bumped into the escalator handrail and my house gate which caused me to 'bounce' backward twice.

Oh well, as long as it was worth it to see the smile on mummy's face and her expression when she saw it, together with the card that Aizaad did. I don't mind all the troubles. :)

I can't help but be a lil' protective of my friends since young. Even the mother could not understand this and started to tell me story of friend backstabbing a friend, or relating movies to the situation as a precaution. Thanks mother, but sometimes it's better to learn from experience cause once bitten twice shy. I'm still the same person, only that I'm more aware of my social circle now.

It has never been my intention to keep a distance from certain friends. I'm not being choosy but I think it's for my own good. 'Cause whatever it is, I've to put myself first. If it has been a hi-bye or just a smile, at least I know it came sincerely. I've got my own life and way to handle it, I'm not going to adjust my lifestyle to suit anyone's. Fun once in a while is alright, but when it comes hand-in-hand with trouble, it is spelled as unhealthy. Probably what friends could do to earn my loyalty is to just be more sincere cause I don't judge, I can smell it from far.

Celebrated Naz's belated birthday sometime last month. Our friendship shows that age doesn't matter cause seriously most of the time, the youngest (Kyn), ruled us! But it's all good, not complaining. :)

Anyway, note to self: you know that you are sick when you keep coughing till your right waist hurts. You know that you are sick when you are tired of even looking at the medicine. You know that you are sick when you felt so bored after having to stay at home for days and wanted to just go anywhere and eat nice food. You know that you are sick when your boyfriend finally brought you out and you felt breathless and giddy, and when your throat felt funny when you were eating nice food. I declare that I am still sick after 5 days but am happy that my parents let me go out with him just so that I will give all of them some peace.

However, it came with a catch "I'll bring you to the doctor tmr, don't be stubborn." OK mother, after my movie marathon that is! And thank you Mr Yaqin for bringing me to GWC, rented dvds and dinner at Spize. I will not disturb you tmr. Hehe.

I realized that after being in a relationship for so long, I tend to find myself feeling lonely and bored very easily. However, i'm happy that I still have tinge of independence to be able to chill, shop, and eat alone.

After watching the movie P.S I Love You eons back, it struck me that I should not be over-reliant on others for my happiness and joy, but I do fall into the category sometimes. Guilty as charged. It scares me to know that I might suffer at the end of the day for depending too much on them (parents, siblings, boyfriend, & friends).

Just last weekend, a day after my brother left for Philippines, I went to my baby cousin's cukur rambut with my parents and I didn't realize that while I was helping myself to the food, I almost wanted to turn to tell 'my brother' that there was sweet & sour fish, his favourite. I also took 2 cold drinks and return to the table to realize that I was the only child for the day. That actually dampened my mood, but I'm lucky enough to have noisy uncles and aunts. They perked up the atmosphere around me again.

Also, the stone days when the boyfriend had to leave me for 2 weeks, a month, and whatnot, I became aware that I hate night time. I have a tendency to feel super lonely as the sun sets when I know that any of my loved ones is away for a period of time.

On the other note, the World Cup fever is not getting to me (yet or never). It's a pity cause when I was in Malaysia, it was showing almost everywhere! Hotel, malls, airport.. I sure don't deserve it when I know that my fellow SG-ians are facing inconvenience back in homeland. Hehe. Besides that, I definitely had my fair share of fun & relax time during the trip. Initially I was nervous and couldn't sleep the night before I flew off cause it was my first all girls trip as my dad's policy and regulation had always been "must have at least one boy". As soon as I reached T1 and met the girls at 10AM, I was pretty excited and already a little bit prepared to be so called adventurous. Now, I like all girls trip! 'Cause girls being girls, we are more organize, understand each other better, and the room always smells good! Haha.

Oh yes, i've received an e-mail from my TA school stating "Please report to the school on 6 July 2010 as 5 July is Youth Day school holiday. I will meet you in the school office L2, at 7am." Curious, I e-mailed them back to enquire if there will be any meeting that I need to attend before TA starts, and I got "No meetings dear. Thanks for checking out." reply. Haha.. I'm so happy that I would want to have a dosage of Marble Slab tmr! :)

On another note, it's June already. How time flies when you are 'shaking legs' at home and be carefree, and still get paid every month. Now, I am hoping that June will slow down a lil' so that I can enjoy every bit of it before the start of the dreaded TA in July.

Anyway, Bintan last weekend was fun 'cept that it's getting more expensive there. Up next this month is PD with the girls! I just want to go for short trips to different places and wish it doesn't have to end.

Yesterday, I got to know that a friend of mine got engaged on her birthday late last month. And I start to wonder if it's still possible to have a proposal for us when we have already sort of discussed 'bout him getting his parents to come over my place prolly next year. The thing is, I feel that proposing would be more fun, memorable, and sweet. When I brought up this topic to him, he asked me what's the difference? The difference is, when he propose to me, he gets to put the ring whereas the other occasion would be either his mom or grandma, and he couldn't even be there! Oh well, lets just leave everything to time and the one above. Now, let's focus on saving money first. Haha.

OK, I actually talked to my mum regarding the above and I get it now. To conclude, I still think it will be fun knowing that your other half crack his brain to let the creative juice flow. And I would definitely want to have the chance to say "With this ring, yes, I will marry you!". Then the culture thing can continue from then on. i am longing to go anywhere out of Singapore soon. apparently Bangkok is out. and baby, I'm going to jinx your trip if you were to stubbornly decide on going to Bangkok still come Sept (that is if the riot is still on). i just need to sit with my girls and discuss on this holiday trip in June pronto.

we are looking at water sport activities besides relaxing by the beach (and shopping). and we even thought of climbing Mount Kinabalu if we were to decide to go Kota Kinabalu! haha. the boyfriend actually commented on us to try climbing Bukit Timah first. how encouraging.

i stayed at home today. my body clock has started to adjust to the holiday mood timing already, and i reckon that it's not a good thing at all. cause (1), i have 2 weeks English camp come May, which starts at 9am 5days a week, (2) 5 weeks of TA in July.

i suddenly felt warm while i was on my bed playing games from my itouch an hour ago. it makes sleeping so hard. the air-con and fan are on full speed now, thank god for them.

i am on holiday season now, which marks the end of year one in NIE! it's time to plan out my days productively. lunch date, weekend trip, whatever. and not forgetting Kelly Clarkson's concert this coming Tuesday, I feel like fast forwarding tomorrow and skip Monday altogether.

i got the posting for TA. canossa convent primary, prolly the same distance as to my contract school. totally felt yucky when Kyn texted me saying 'the practicum list is out'. i was outside with bf at that point of time and didn't want to spoil the evening. a huge sigh of relieved together with huge eyes of disbelief, happy laughter, loud clappings, and a plastered smile on my face when i saw the school name. i really hope c.c.p.s is going to be a better place. *crosses fingers* and i also really hope that i won't make enemy with number one again this time round. i'm nice when everyone are, if not then i'll prolly going to have a hard time. just like at my previous school. i do care about my reputation, responsibilities, and i'll go full force when it comes to work. what i don't care is you and you. sigh, it just shows how much i dislike my contract school. :(

I took a look at it before she wrote my name and talked to her about her drawing skills without noticing that the girl she was drawing is me!
it was only after I saw the details of the drawing that I realised it reflected what I was wearing, even my sandals! hahaha.
the only thing I could think of was "did you peek under the table?" cause I was wearing a pretty short dress you see (as you can tell from the drawing). which of course she did...

i just read the highlights of s'pore idol on msn entertainment and it irks me when i saw "sezairi sezali made it three wins in a row for aspiring male malay singers..". i really don't mind if a chinese, eurasian or a filipino won the idol because if they are good, they're good you know? however, i really think that "malay" is totally unnecessary unless you're trying to create a conspiracy, and that's just wrong.

honestly, i was rooting for slyvia before the grand finale. i want a change as well and not forgetting that she was a better singer and performer during the spectacular. however, she disappoint me when she started singing "yellow" and the idol song "touched by an angel". it's like she appeared conservative and lil' bit of a mess that night, despite her beautiful and classy white greek-like dress. on the other hand, sezairi picked a very challenging song when he sang "crazy" by aerosmith (one of my childhood song), and actually did it pretty ordinarily well and he also did the idol song in sync with the live band and backup singers which was more pleasant to hear. on a nutshell, sezairi showed his fangs that night and that was all that matters. the idea of voting just so that we can get a female idol this time round suddenly sounded absurd.

now lets do the highlights of the whole grand finale show. there was duane who appeared in a cheerleading suit! not forgetting charles who looked ever so assuring with his guitar. his expression as though said "you sing bro, do your thing. i'll play the guitar for you." hahaha. and then there were also hady, taufik, and charice performances. i randomly asked "why did you leave in the first place?" when hady sang the song from his newly launched album. my sister entertained me with "if he didn't leave, there won't be this song." right.. and then there was taufik, whose performance looked like jay chou was on stage. perhaps blame it on his dancers? lastly charice, i couldn't take my eyes off the screen when she was singing and it scared me a lil when a sudden imagination of the bedazzled microphone in her mouth. :X

on a different note, i'm going to watch the chipmunks tonight. saw the trailer and couldn't stop laughing looking at the chipettes dancing. lol. can't wait! and before i call it a wrap, i'll leave you with "just dance through whatever life brings."

on the ride back home just now, qamarul and myself were talking about the group of mat metal whom we stumbled upon earlier. the language and inappropriate behaviour, which caused the headache that i'm having up till now. and how it is so common for malay girls to drink alcoholic beverages nowadays. the topic eventually leads to how he is going to bring up his children, so that they don't drink and etc. so i came up with a solution of buying alcohol breathalyzer to be kept at home and use it everytime the kids come home. i mean they can come home late but should know their limit, splendid isn't it? until qamarul gave me the wtf look, but i still think it's a great idea.

and the other day in the plane, on the way back to singapore, my sister was randomly asking how to get babies swallow the saliva while on the plane to unblock the ear passage from air pressure as it can be very painful. obviously we did not have any answer to that.. but i suggested of giving the babies sleeping pills. again, i received the are you kidding me look and then, "YOU DON'T DO THAT TO BABIES!!".

anyways, i'm using my brother's new laptop now. if you're reading this, thanks bro. i've just tested it for you, and i'm happy to say that it's not bad at all! cept' for the connection. :)

we headed down to clarke quay and asian civilisations musuem on Halloween this year. the day started late as it was raining in the late afternoon. it was actually still drizzling when we met at around 8pm? definitely dampened our mood a lil but the food, company, and seeing people in costumes made the night more interesting. i've always wanted to dress up for halloween.. but never get the chance to. cause october is the peak period when schooling (project deadlines and exams around the corner) and also when teaching (kids' sitting for exams and marking of exam papers, etc.).

one fine year la eh.. even when it means that i'm married with kids. if i have the opportunity, i will dress up my children and husband as well. :)

life has been pretty busy, which explains the lack of update. school is taxing and it's partly the cause of me not blogging on happy things that happen in my life, as I feel that it requires a lot of time to upload pictures and type.

recess week has ended, which means new term has started. how fast. anyway, recess week wasn't really a break for me cause there are lots of stuff to catch up on, as well as group assignment meetings. and module like ICT is really testing me, there's really nothing much to say about it, i'm an IT noob.

the feeling at the end of the week is just a long stretch of relieve and ready to take off for the sun, sand, and sea.

and dear God, please give the people in countries who were affected by the typhoon and earthquakes, the strength to let go and move on with their lives.

These are the only pictures I managed to save after my MP3 cum thumbdrive decided to resign after working for me for (this) long. Hint: I need a new MP3, or MP4, Ipod Nano (in green) will do.

Anyway.. the overwhelming feeling is back again. The amount of assignments that are piled up over a matter of 5 weeks. No doubt school is getting busier than ever with Hari Raya around the corner. I haven't exactly been blogging bout how hectic my life is now, but I'm glad that the people around me are supportive and understanding enough. Thank you.

So many deadlines to meet, and tests coming up. There are times when I feel so tense that part of me just want to run and scream at the top of my lung. Yet, I chose to laugh instead, to release the tension (which felt so good). Commitments and responsibilities, such powerful words.

My weekends have been burnt by assignments. Next week, will be another round of it. I've been going out with my laptop a lot. I miss spending quality time with the bf, not seating at Starbucks/Coffee Bean doing my work. I even had to skip baking kuih at my grandaunt's place this year. Basically, I'm almost family and me time deprive.

it has been almost a month since my last entry. & it has become a habit to post long overdue pics. luckily, nobody bugged me for it cause' they are all equally busy with "mad rush for CA2" and me, NIE.

anyway, since it is the month of Ramadhan now, it is a norm for me to drag Qamarul to shop for my accessories, shoes, etc. this year, it's a bit different, cause I'm more laid back up to the point where Qamarul questioned me,

on another note, I didn't attend school today. hahaha. feels like back to poly days man. cause' I only have an hour science lecture every monday, and the first lecture i attended actually ended in half an hour! my journey time, by public, is 1hr 45mins, by car, 45 mins. so, I did what other sane beings would do, drove to NIE every monday. just that today, i'm feeling extra lazy. hoho.

the highlight for today, stay home and do self-reading of today's lecture, & continue doing one of many assignments. hopefully, i can get the e-chart done by today. cause i've to start on other assignments, starting this weekend. yes, my previous weekend was also burnt by assignments. and all these assignments i'm talking about, is not including group assignments. it's like the schedule of all the courses were given to us, so it's up to us to manage our own timeline targets. however, the most important thing is, i'm still very much in my right mind.

It has been a week since my official last day at BPS, and I still remember it like it was only yesterday. Mixed feelings of excitement and sadness. With a heavy heart, I had to break the news to the kids and the sudden silence or open jaw (from the upper primary) and the confuse puss in the boots kind of look that I got from my P1 class, I thought I had to fight back the tears.

They are the ones who would surround me with their enthusiasm, with their questions. I was like the gardener who sowed the seeds of learning. I'd nurture their thoughts as if they were tiny sprouts of palest green, propping them up and protecting them. I would feed their minds with the gentle mist of experience.

And of course, not forgetting the lower primary level teachers. They are the masters of 'gardener'. I will definitely miss working with them and their unique characters. XOXO.

The old, and the new.

The important thing is to make it meaningful.

'Australian researchers have identified what it takes to keep a couple together, and it's a lot more than just being in love.

A couple's age, previous relationships and even whether they smoke or not are factors that influence whether their marriage is going to last.

It found that a husband who is nine or more years older than his wife is twice as likely to get divorced, as are husbands who get married before they turn 25.

Children also influence the longevity of a marriage or relationship, with one-fifth of couples who have kids before marriage - either from a previous relationship or in the same relationship -- havin separated compared to just nine percent of couples without children born before marriage.

Women who want children much more than their partners are also more likely to get a divorce.

A couple's parents also have a role to play in their own relationship, with the study showing some 16 percent of men and women whose parents ever separated or divorced experienced marital separation themselves compared to 10 percent for those whose parents did not separate.

Also, partners who are on their second or third marriage are 90 percent more likely to separate than spouses who are both in their first marriage.

Not surprisingly, money also plays a role, with up to 16 percent of respondents who indicated they were poor or where the husband -- not the wife -- was unemployed saying they had separated, compared with only nine percent of couples with healthy finances.

Factors found to not significantly affect separation risk included the number and age of children born to a married couple, the wife's employment status and the number of years the couple had been employed."
